Share your heart for the area of ministry you are currently leading?
At age12 it was prophesied over me that I would be a missionary. All I thought of was "Please God do not send me to Africa". I don't know why I thought I did not want to go to Africa, but it is interesting that my heart is with Haiti (who are of African descent). In 1995 I went on my first mission trip and knew that God was awakening my passion and calling. Then in 2010 Bill and I went on our first trip to Haiti. We fell in love with the people. Bill and I then lead ALCC mission teams to Haiti five times. In 2019 we took our first youth focused group to a YWAM base in Ensenada and saw God energize the youth. Once I was asked what was my heart if there were no restrictions. I said "I see myself as a mission leader". I am living my dream every time I lead a mission team anywhere. God is good and He always does what he says.
How long have you been at Abundant Life?
I have been attending ALCC since 2003.
Tell us a little about your family...
Bill and I have a daughter named Amy and four awesome biological grandchildren who we pray we instill the love of God, other people, and faithfulness. We also have many other adopted grandchildren who we love and pray for daily. We have lived in Bonney Lake for 24 years. One of our family's favorite things to do is camp and go dirt bike riding.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about instilling resilience in the youth and training them to reach out to the lost and lonely. I love teaching and missions, and what better than to teach the youth in mission outreaches.

* I was the first and only female firefighter in a Federal Way and a police officer in Tukwila.
* On our first date Bill actually took my sister instead of me (not his first choice for sure).
